Hello LA Hackers!

Hello Hackers,

Thank you for your participation in the third annual Techweek LA Hackathon!

We are very excited to see what you will come up with this year.

As we ramp up for next week, we wanted to provide you with the event details:

When: Noon Saturday, November 14th - Noon Sunday, November 15th
- Saturday, November 14th
  - Noon - 2pm: Workshops & Lunch
  - 2pm: Hack begins
  - 7pm: Dinner
- Sunday, November 15th
  - 8am: Breakfast
  - 10am: Hack ends / submit project on Devpost
  - 10am - 11am: Presentations
  - 11am - 11:59am: Judging
  - Noon: Winner announced
Where: Hatch Studios (2260 Centinela Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90064)

Judging Criteria:
- You are not required to explain how your app makes money, unless that is part of the problem you solve.
- Are you solving a real problem in an interesting way?
- How well did you present?
- How much progress did you make on your application?
Rules:
1. Hackers are allowed to prepare wireframes, outlines, or notes in advance but cannot start design or development until 2pm on Sat, Nov. 14th.
2. IBM will supply their API. Hackers are required to use this API.
3. Teams can consist of 1-5 people.

Please encourage your friends to register for some friendly competition.
